Stunt Double
Jane recently came home after a few days away, but I had already left on a work trip. Imagine her surprise when she wandered into the living room in the dark and found my reasonable facsimile chillaxing in the Man Chair....even the cats didn't appear to know the difference!

Jack Frost courts the May Queen
Awoke to a really cool treat from Ma Nature this morning - pun intended. We got a good frost overnight, the closest we have come to snow in a while. But the sun was up and warm, leaving green grass everywhere the sun touched and frost in the shaded areas.
There was even a frost outline of the trees in their own shadows, while grass all around them was green. Check the shade line immediately left of the ash tree in the first picture below - all white!
To top it all off, the Willow was Weeping - as the frost fled before the sun, Environment Canada reported VERY localized rain showers underneath our tree.

Spring Clean for the May Queen
The May Queen actually lives near Wheatley, where she can clean in February....or even January THIS year. Then in May she heads North to visit the rest of you.
Received a request, nay, DEMAND for a blog update. Sure, the last one was at Christmas, but other than working we haven't done much of import lately.
Another in a string of awesome sunny and positive Celsius days in early February seemed like a good time to do some yard work. The cats and bunnies helped too, a little.
And just for Julie, a live shot of us watching Supernatural Season 6 - again.
