Spring Fling

After nearly a week of flirting with Spring, including symbolically turning the clocks ahead, winter finally seems to be relenting and retreating. About five straight days of mild daytime temperatures (3 to 9 C) and sunshine coupled with zero precipitation has seen an orderly melt to much of the existing burden of snow.

Supposed to hit double digits tomorrow.....before returning to just above zero for a few more days.

Next up - MUD season! Early indications include mucky paw prints all over the kitchen as the cats eagerly embrace the Spring with vernal varieties of feline frolicking. The Nug Family in particular enjoy a return to their wild ways after hiding inside from winter for a few months.

At least we'll be able to park the cars at the house again soon (today or tomorrow!) rather than making the hike to the end of the driveway at the road.

First outdoor laundry hang of 2015!

Is it weeping or pooling? The story was never clear

The Path becomes clear

For those who know just how deep our ditch is....it's FULL!
