Boomer was an older dog, who finally found the right home after being relinquished to a rescue facility. It is difficult to say exactly who rescued who, as this gentle soul overcame abandonment issues and brought new love into his new home.
He was known for his go-to pity move, dubbed The Pillar of Sausage - sitting bolt upright with big, sad eyes - in an effort to elicit treats. Or more treats.
Farewell friend. You will be sorely missed.
