This fall fair opened on Saturday with a parade up the town's main drag, followed by a veritable flood of people swarming in for rides, games, great food, live music.....and of course, apples and an apple peeling contest. I made the mistake of running a few errands after opening, including a coffee run for us and some fellow vendors, and got caught in the post-parade insanity on my way back in. Having lost my prime vendor parking spot, I ended up two fields over!
Sunday opened with some light drizzle, just enough to keep the car owners busy drying their classic rides at the car show. Luckily, the rustic art can handle a little moisture! Sunday was less crazy but still plenty busy. By pack-up time, much less art went back into the van....once we were actually able to get the van in to the booth!
Tired and hungry, we rounded out the weekend with dinner and a nice cream ale on the patio at Renny's.
