Europe 2018 Day 8 - Day at Sea

The Norwegian Star turned westward, as we began the run back towards the Adriatic. We spent a lazy day on the pool deck, playing a board game (the appropriately chosen Santorini) and card game (Hand of the King, for upcoming Dubrovnik) at the edge of the shade, while a multitude of sun-worshippers favoured the poolside loungers.

The people-watching was also highly entertaining, including an international incident involving a judging scandal during the Mr. Sexy Legs contest. Gold Bikini and Man-Bun.....you know who you are.

A late lunch at the pub led to afternoon lounging with beverages at our favorite port-side recliners - part of their charm was their proximity to the pub for refills!

Courtesy of Jane's parents from afar, we were treated to a late and great dinner at the fancy Cagney's Steakhouse, in honour of John's recent birthday. After a laboured few laps around the deck under the stars, in a vain attempt to work off at least a few of the calories, we headed off to our rooms for the night.
