March came in like a Lamb, and appears to be going out like a Lion, with a few days of sub-zero temperatures and even some scattered flurries as the month comes to a close. Nothing is staying on the ground for more than a few hours, but we are trying not to refill the oil tank amidst record-high prices.....so we're keeping things even cooler!
Luckily it's only supposed to be for a few days, before we're back up to more seasonal weather in the teens. Soon we can repopulate the deck with furniture, and enjoy outdoor theatre once again.
Dave's house sold, which was great news, but also meant we needed to find a new home for Bertha. I'm not sure it's a good idea to park such a boat so near to a large lake.....but here she sits. We also made a visit to The Van parked in nearby storage - Dave's 1980 Ford that so embodies aspects of Jane's childhood.
COVID persists, though hopefully also waning.....now that most mandates are being lifted. The senseless War in Ukraine also continues into its second month. Here's hoping for better times ahead for everyone.
