As You May

Early May brought a lot of rain, as we began to prep for summer art shows and our upcoming road trip. With my old mower on its last legs, Ken delivered my new used MTD Gold, with more horsepower, an automatic transmission, and a cup holder....along with some new intricacies to discover. Once the property dried out enough, I was able to give it a whirl.

I also did some spring tree trimming, creating a van load of brush for the nearby yard waste depot.

We caught Gronk fishing in the ditch again - we've seen him "watching" before, and we've seen the remains of his catch. This time, we actually saw him trying to smack fish as they swam past his location!

We also made time for the symbolic Burning of the Mortgage Documents.   :)
