Another gorgeous summer weekend revealed some opportunities to enjoy some local fare. We took the always scenic drive along the Lake Erie shoreline to Blenheim, for a classic car show, followed by a waterfront lunch on the patio at Bayside Brewery (and brewpub) in Erieau. A few "take out" selections were also in order!
Watched a movie (City of Bones) under the stars on our outdoor theatre on Saturday night. On Sunday, we ventured two kilometers down the road to the Two Creeks Conservation area, where we enjoyed a free ("pass the hat") concert by The Diggers, featuring some fine celtic entertainment.
Oh yeah, pulled some weeds and cut some grass and did some writing, in case you think I didn't do any work all weekend!
