Cruising the Atlantic

Holidays began with a high-speed drive to Boston, followed very closely by a second car full of Coxes. After hooking up along Highway 3, we crossed at Buffalo and made it all the way to Westfield, Massachusetts before stopping for the night....and enjoying an excellent local pub.

The next morning, a relatively short run down the interstate saw us in downtown Boston and boarding the Norwegian Dawn for a week at sea to Bermuda and back.....all in premature celebration of John's 40th birthday.

We were more than pleased with our cheap upgrade to a balcony room, and spent many an hour gazing wistfully to starboard. Hurricane Cristobal cut short out visit to Bermuda, meaning more time at sea to enjoy the view, the food, live comedy, more food, a beer or two (three?), some food, live music, cuisine, and fine company. As always, the fine Norwegian cruise staff took excellent care of us, and always with a smile!
